Although the children aren’t coming to the church building each week for ENERGY, the work of ENERGY continuesSummer activities include a trip to the zoo, a visit to the West Side Bazaar, and a picnic.  Home visits occur during July and August when we hope to meet with current and prospective students.  Plans and preparations for the upcoming school year are already underway. As we look to the fall, you can play a part in this vital outreach to the children of our community. 

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

When new students are welcomed into ENERGY, they may seem apprehensive, uncertain, uneasy and just plain anxious. Often they and their families have lived in refugee camps, taking many steps to leave their home country behind. They have flown across the ocean for the first time in a huge, strange airplane, and whisked away to a huge, strange country.
