Matchmaker 2023 - Registration for Small Business

Is your small business interested in selling to Federal, State, or local Government agencies and prime contractors? Would you like to have the opportunity to meet with the procurement officers of many of these organizations in one place on a single day?

Well, the SBA Buffalo District office and SCORE Buffalo Niagara have exciting news for you!

The annual Small Business Matchmaker event has returned to Buffalo after a three-year hiatus. From 8 AM until 11 AM on May 3, you will be able to meet one-on-one, in person, with dozens of procurement representatives from government agencies and prime contractors. The format allows for scheduling short “Speed Dating” meetings with buyers (sign-ups for appointments begin at 7 AM on the day of the event) so that small businesses can introduce themselves, their products/services, and interests in doing business.

Government agencies and prime contractors are required by law to buy from small businesses. They are looking for qualified, reputable firms to buy the products and services they need to fulfill government procurement needs as well as build their supply chains. This can be your ticket to small business success! Don’t miss this once-a-year chance to pitch your business to interested buyers.

FEE: $50.00 per person

Once you register for Matchmaker, you will receive information and be invited to reserve your seat at the SBA’s Small Mentor-Protégé Program Roundtable that will be offered from 10:00 AM to 11 AM during Matchmaker. This roundtable will be a unique opportunity for your federal contracting business by providing a dynamic Question and Answer session with successful Mentors and Proteges that utilized SBA’s Mentor Protégé Program
